About This Doll/Figure

Formerly (before becoming one of my characters), this doll/figure was: a 1996 Action Man

Hybrid/OOAK Status: I haven’t made any changes to him, other than removing the paint on his scar. I plan to make some changes that will make him look more like he’s 51 years old.

Identifying Info: I’m trying to add photos or text about marks, stamps, and other identifying information to these bios, wherever possible, in case others who (like me) buy most of their dolls and/or action figures at thrift stores, flea markets, and yard sales and may be curious about the origins of some of them. If someone searches the Internet with the info that is stamped on the back of a doll or action figure’s body and it’s one that I own, my hope is that they will land here and I’ll be able to help them in their quest for answers!

GetMeStarted

As a kid, I dearly loved my Barbies and I played with them for hours on end. During those years, I also enjoyed watching my mom's "stories" (soap operas) with her, and I grew to love the soap genre. Now I’m a grown woman in my 50’s. In 2012, I began collecting and photographing Barbie dolls and other 6th scale dolls and action figures and I have fallen in love with making dioramas and using my dolls to tell my own "stories".
